Maydm (Non-Profit)

About this role:

Maydm is a non-profit technology company that provides girls and youth of color in grades 7-12 with skill-based training for the technology sector. I joined this startup early in the company's development, and was tasked with developing Maydm’s visual brand identity. During my time with them, I created Maydm's logo, brand guidelines and assets, promotional materials and redesigned their website.

Maydm’s design needed to target the technology sector, but I also felt that it was important for the branding to reflect the students. I chose purple, the color of ambition, creativity and independence. It’s also bright, playful and modern, like the brand itself.
